The inferno team responsible for the development of the Gilder & Howell logo includes Michael Overton, Linda Corti and Colleen Radish.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — inferno, a full-service advertising, marketing, design, and public relations firm, today announced its work is included in the third edition of the LogoLounge Master Library series, a resource used by designers around the world for reference and inspiration. The agency’s logo for Gilder & Howell, P.A. appears in LogoLounge Master Library, Volume 3: 3,000 Shapes and Symbols Logos, which was released last month.

“It’s an honor for our team to be recognized in a publication that features work from other world-renowned designers and well-known brands,” said Michael Overton, agency partner and creative director. “Our team appreciates the design contributions included in previous volumes of the series and we hope our addition to LogoLounge will serve as inspiration to other designers.”

In 2009, the law firm of Gilder & Howell selected inferno to generate awareness in the saturated personal injury market. The selected design incorporated clean, simple details featuring cross-shaped bandages to provide the firm a more personal, approachable image. The logo was used in a print campaign and featured on billboards in the Memphis area, as well as included on the attorneys’ business cards and letterhead.

LogoLounge currently holds more than 169,000 images in its database of user-submitted work, which are considered for publication in upcoming volumes of the company’s books.
